Product Development Coordinator

Job purpose

  • Support PD Senior Manager and Senior Director in the development process of new products for MANA.

  • Assist in new launches of all product development projects, working closely with Marketing and R&D to bring scheduled launches to market on time by following key timeline dates and adhering to each date to assure delivery.

  • Lead the Product Test Panel, create questionnaires, request and provide samples, follow up on test results, review results, and issue final report to ensure all formulas meet the standards of development objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Test and evaluate all submissions and competitive products to provide feedback in writing.

  • Assist in management of the daily execution of new product launches from formula approval through manufacturing.

  • Enter and track product development lab requests for reworks & shade extensions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and R&D to bring scheduled launches to market on time following key timeline dates.

  • Assist in the writing, editing & traffic of technical sheets, or fact sheets.

  • Maintain and update all current and discontinued standards for MANA library.

  • Manage all Instrumentation testing from recruiting, documenting, and executing through summary analysis.

  • Function as packaging liaison for packaging requests/procurement. Track all filled and unfilled samples and conduct usability/functionality testing.

  • Continuously monitor industry innovations and shade palettes.

  • Perform competitive shopping, as needed.

  • Other special projects.


  • Passion for the beauty industry with experience in beauty product development

  • Skilled in product evaluating and makeup application experience

  • Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • High energy and ability to multi-task, especially in fast-paced environments

  • Strong project management skills, and a strong sense of self-initiative

  • Proficient computer skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Collaborative, team player with a positive attitude

  • Bachelor’s degree
