Director Of Sales West Coast

Job Description: 

The Director, Sales is accountable for driving revenue retention and growth, as well as profitability for assigned customers and actively develop and recruit new customers. The Director of Sales will work closely with the company’s VP of Sales to identify sales opportunities and develop targeted approaches to leverage those opportunities. The Director will be in a highly visible, influential role that will work with and across multiple functions and leaders within MANA. Ideally, this will be a remote position located in either Los Angeles or San Francisco, California.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assess current client relationships to identify client-specific plans to increase revenue, profitability and/or service.

  • Facilitate client relationships and relationship management between MANA and key clients to ensure ongoing business partnership, including revenue and/or profitability growth plans

  • Plan and participate in industry functions, such as trade shows and industry media events

  • Work with Project Management and closely monitor the development of projects

  • Work closely with Product Development and the R&D teams to develop offerings that will set meet customer needs

  • Define and manage all sales and marketing and related tools, concepts and presentations for your clients


  • 6-8 years experience in Sales

  • 6-8 years sales experience in beauty and personal care

  • Excellent product knowledge and experience in beauty and personal care

  • Contract Manufacturing experience a must

  • Marketing and/or Business Administration or related degree required; MBA a plus

  • Strong industry connections strongly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical abilities

  • Must be self and goal oriented, dynamic and resilient

  • Strong ability to multi-task and plan effectively
